EEIG International Activities

From the moment of registration, the EEIG of the Senators can operate anywhere in the EU Community and worldwide with legal capacity under the conditions of the founding treaty/union statutes.

The EEIG can hold rights and obligations, enter into contracts, perform legal acts, go to court, and dispose of its own assets in accordance with the objectives set by its members.

Management Powers

The founding treaty/union statutes define the conditions for management powers. The EEIG President commits senators to third parties without restriction.

Freedom of Contract

The Brussels Council of Ministers Regulation emphasises the freedom of contract of EEIG members. Members can largely freely shape their contractual relationships, implications and internal EEIG constitution.
