The Goals of Our Union
Strategic orientation and principles of the EEIG of the Senators
Core Objectives
All EEIG activities are based on member activities, with all results benefiting the members. The grouping can operate without restriction in various economic sectors. The purpose of the grouping is not self-profit, although this does not exclude profit opportunities, as the regulation provides tax provisions for such cases.
Reasons for Forming the EEIG
The EEIG provides a new cooperation instrument that can be used in various fields. For the first time in Europe, senators have direct access to a common, international legal instrument that overcomes the previous cross-border cooperation limitations of national legal systems.
This unique structure enables members to cooperate across national borders while benefiting from a uniform legal framework recognised in all EU member states.
Union Principles
The principles of the Union of Senators are to serve internationally and for the common good in:
Economy
International economic cooperation and development
Science
Scientific research and technological progress
Culture
Cultural preservation and exchange programmes
Social-Humanitarian
Humanitarian engagement and social development
International Legal Protection
According to the union statutes, the objective is to protect and uphold the international rights of the senators. This ensures that all members maintain their appropriate representation and influence in international affairs while strengthening cooperation across European borders.
