Council Regulation (EEC) No. 2137/85 of 25 July 1985 on the establishment of a European Economic Interest Grouping (EEIG), based on Article 235 of the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community.
Published in the Official Journal of the European Communities L 199/1 on 31.07.1985, signed by President J. Poos in Brussels.
This regulation forms the legal framework for cross-border cooperation and economic activities within the European Economic Area.
